15 years of Schüssler Salts in Bulgaria

On November 15, 2025, a Jubilee Scientific and Practical Conference on Schüssler Salts Therapy and Homeopathy took place, where Alpen Pharma solemnly celebrated two significant milestones:

• 15 years of Schüssler Salts in Bulgaria
• The 30th anniversary of the Bulgarian Homeopathic Physicians Association

The conference, dedicated to children’s health in the digital age, brought together leading experts in Sofia to discuss the opportunities of integrative medicine for children’s health prevention, as well as the new challenges faced by the medical community in the context of digitalization, changing family and social models, and the growing prevalence of addictions.

The program included scientific presentations on autism spectrum disorders in light of recent research and integrative therapeutic approaches, featuring contributions from:

• Dr. Dora Pachova, Master of Homeopathic Therapy and Chair of the Bulgarian Homeopathic Physicians Association (ALHB)
• Prof. Dr. Viktoria Sarafyan, Department of Medical Biology, Medical University of Plovdiv
• Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dimitar Kolev, Neurologist, Southwestern University “N. Rilski”, Blagoevgrad
• Dr. Nonna Petrova, Director of Alpen Pharma Bulgaria and others.

Angelika Gräfin Wolfskeel, naturopath and Schüssler therapist (Germany), spoke about the impact of digitalization on children’s health and how Schüssler Salts therapy can help address issues such as chronic “silent” inflammation, leaky gut syndrome and dysbiosis, sleep and concentration disorders, metabolic challenges, and an increased risk of diabetes and insulin resistance, among others.

Assoc. Prof. Oskan Tasinov, Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Medicine and Nutrigenomics, Medical University of Varna, presented the results of an in vitro study of Schüssler Salt No. 3 — Ferrum phosphoricum D12 — and its effects on macrophages and immunomodulation.

For 15 years, the original Schüssler Salts by the German Homeopathic Union (DHU) have been an essential part of the therapeutic practice of Bulgaria’s most successful physicians and pharmacists!
