Homeopathic medicinal product indicated in conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system and the maxillofacial region. May be used as part of complex therapy in abscesses, exostoses, osteitis, osteopenia, osteoporosis, and related disorders.

MUSCULOSKELETAL INDICATIONS

  • Bone spurs (osteophytes)
  • Degenerative and inflammatory changes of the maxillofacial bones
  • Periostitis, osteitis; epiphysitis during growth
  • Bone resorption associated with suppurative inflammatory processes
  • Musculoskeletal complaints: myalgia, arthralgia, osteoarthritis, periarthritis
  • Hallux valgus

DENTAL INDICATIONS

  • Painful fissuring of the skin around the mouth (cheilitis)
  • Generalized periodontitis
  • Gingivitis
  • Dental fistula; dental abscess
  • Gingival polyps and hyperplastic gingival overgrowth
  • Facial neuralgia associated with carious teeth and following tooth extraction

Dosage and Administration

Acute conditions:

  • Hekla Lava D10 – 1 dose (10 globules) twice daily for 4–6 weeks or until clinical improvement is observed.
    If necessary, the course may be repeated after a 1-month interval or extended for an additional 2 months.

Chronic conditions:

  • Hekla Lava D30 – 1 dose (10 globules) once daily for 3 months.
    If required, the course may be repeated after a 1-month interval or extended for an additional 2 months.
