WATER-SALT balance

  • Regulates fluid balance and acid–base homeostasis.
  • Stimulates cellular division (an important support during pregnancy).
  • Functional component for healthy joints, cartilage, and ocular lenses.
  • Supports the formation of saliva and perspiration.

  • Enhances the senses of smell and taste.

The mineral salt of fluid balance. Participates in the formation of cartilage, tendons, ligaments, intervertebral discs, and the ocular lens. Regulates blood volume and provides supportive care in cases of overheating, heat exhaustion, and sunstroke.

Main Areas of Use

  • Rhinitis with profuse secretions and watery eyes.
  • Vomiting and diarrhea.
  • Insect bites (in combination with salt No. 3).
  • Edema during pregnancy.
  • Cystitis, gastritis.
  • Cartilage support: osteoarthritis, joint crepitus and cracking; joint swelling.
  • Dry eyes.
  • Volume-dependent hypertension (in combination with Salt No. 4).
  • Anemia.
  • Morning nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.
  • Breastfeeding support.
  • Fever above 38.5°C (in combination with Salts No. 3 and No. 5).
  • Overheating, heatstroke.
  • Burns, including sunburn (in combination with salt No. 3).
  • Heartburn and gastric burning sensation (in combination with Salt No. 9).
  • Dry skin and wrinkles; support for healthy hair and nails (in combination with Salts No. 1 and No. 11).

Dosage and Administration

  • The tablets are placed under the tongue and allowed to dissolve slowly; for young children, the tablets may be dissolved in a small amount of water.
  • It is recommended to avoid food and drinks 10-15 minutes before and after taking Schuessler salts.

Acute conditions: 1–3 tablets, 3–6 times daily, for 1–2 weeks.

Emergency conditions: The dosage can be increased many times depending on the severity of the symptoms – e.g., 1 tablet every 5 minutes for 2-4 hours.

Another method of administration is the so-called “hot drink”: Dissolve 10 tablets of the prescribed salt in hot water. Sip slowly in small amounts, allowing the liquid to remain briefly in the mouth before swallowing.

Chronic conditions: 1–3 tablets, 1–2 times daily, for 2–4 months.

Prophylactic use: 1–3 tablets, 1–2 times daily, for at least 6–8 weeks.
